Katie Clay Photography bio picture

Hello Hello!

So, you'd like to learn a little more about me!

* I love to bake.  My sprinkle collection is getting ridiculous.

* I love books.

* I love the color green.  Really, any shade.

* My husband is a Marine.

* I have a Newfoundland named Hank.  He weighs 145lbs and lays in front of a tiny fan for 90% of the day.

* I love living in North Carolina. I love the open land, friendly people, and bright, sunny days.  I'm thankful every day that I took the leap and moved here from New York City.

* I love photography.  I love real smiles, not posed ones. I love capturing emotions, connections, and love in a photo.

Sessions start at $100.  I offer a 15% military discount.  Please contact me through the contact form or at katie.clay@yahoo.com for more pricing and package information!

Over the long weekend, I flew over to Nashville for a quick girls weekend with two of my bestest friends, Leigh and Carly.  It was a little rainy for the first part of the trip, but then the sun came out and we were able to take a few photos.  Love these girls!

The Real Miracle

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle.  But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth.  Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the...

Oh, Charlotte

This is Charlotte and she is my best friend’s beautiful little girl.  I spent the weekend photographing her life in Tulsa, OK.  You see, she’s turning one.  And we just had to document those cheeks, those eyes, that giggle.

Siblings

To the outside world we all grow old.  But not to brothers and sisters.  We know each other as we always were.  We know each other’s hearts.  We share private family jokes.  We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.  We live outside the touch of time.  ~Clara Ortega
This is my sister, Megan,...
